ಬಹು ಸೇವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ಫ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಪತ್ತಿನ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘ ಪರ್ತಾಪುರ ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ ಬಸವಕಲ್ಯಾಣ
ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಕೃಷಿ ಪತ್ತಿನ ಸಹಕಾರೀ ಸಂಘಗಳು (ಪಿಕೆಪಿಎಸ್) ಸಹಕಾರೀ ಕೇತ್ರದ ಬುನಾದಿ ಎಂದೇ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು. ಇಡೀ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೇಯೇ ಇದರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿತವಾದುದಾಗಿದೆ. ಪಿಕೆಪಿಎಸಗಳು ಡಿಸಿಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಗಾಗಿ ಅವಂಲಂಬಿಸಿದೆ. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ 1 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಗಳಿದ್ದು 14 ಕೋಟಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿವೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ರೈತರ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ರೈತರನ್ನು ಖಾಸಗೀ ಲೇವಾದೇವಿಗಾರರ ಶೋಷಣೆಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ತರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ಯಾಕ್ಷಗಳು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.
